"What Is It?" Contest Winner! Heidi Klingel, of Ellensburg, guessed correctly when asked "What Is It?" Her response was very accurate and descriptive: "Something used back in the old days of logging. It maybe held oil for oiling a long saw blade for cutting timber. The hook is for being able to hang it on a tree or belt loop for convenience." Other guesses included: "a maple hook (goes in maple tree)", "for use in (steaming) ironing and laundering", "a bale bucker", "a lantern", and many more! We had a wonderful array of responses. What would you have guessed? What will you guess in our next "What Is It?" contest. |
